NextDayBetter is a creative media company that tell empowering stories inspired by multicultural diaspora communities. Through their global speaker series and digital platforms, they identify and amplify the boldest stories of pioneers, creatives and disruptors from multicultural communities. Their events gather diverse, creative and collaborative leaders for one purpose: make a meaningful impact.

NextDayBetter goes beyond talk and inspire action to create a better future. Through NextDayBetter Labs, collaboration within the global network of creatives and doers launch social good campaigns and invent new technologies that tackle issues ranging from “equity for undocumented Americans” to “resiliency building post natural disasters.”

NextDayBetter launched nine cities in 2015 and I was commissioned as the city curator for the inaugural event in Vancouver. Services included identifying Vancouver's theme of Cultivating Connections, setting the overall tone, creating collateral to support marketing and sales efforts, curation of speakers, chefs, performers, vendors and attendees, and leading the design of event space, directional signage, and other environmental cues resulting in a welcoming and friendly environment conducive to interaction and learning. Complemented by a sophisticated website consistent across multiple platforms, I led a team of organizers to produce branded content for several social media channels to promote the event and encourage online engagement from the global community, reaching 550K-1.5M impressions.
